How Do I Use The Risk Gauge?

The risk gauge is a visual representation of the level of DistributionRisk in a security.

On the first day of a new payment period, the DistributionRisk is the lowest. However, as time passes, the risk grows. The risk gauge is a simple way of seeing how much DistributionRisk is in a security at any given moment. The DistributionRisk gauge updates daily.

If you are analyzing a security currently displaying a medium to high level of risk, an investor should consider delaying the purchase until the security has paid its distribution or find a comparable security with lower DistributionRisk.
